Mix the structolite by putting water in a container and adding the powder to the water while stirring. Get as good a fit as possible, being sure to get it as tight to the wood as possible and then spray it again with water.Īpply more concrete adhesive to the edge of the old plaster and give it a little time to dry. Old wood will really suck the moisture out of plaster.Ĭarefully cut a piece of wire lath and staple it onto the wood lath. The concrete adhesive is actually acting more as a moisture blocker so that the structural plaster doesn't dry before it cures. Spray everything down with water, really saturate it the day before.Ĭarefully brush the concrete adhesive onto any exposed area. You want to clean any dust and debris from the perimeter and push any of the old keys through the wood lath.
